The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape will hold its PEC Lekgotla this weekend from Sunday 9th June to Monday 10th June 2019. The Lekgotla will be preceded by a PEC meeting which will held on Saturday 8th June 2019.
This is the first ANC PEC Lekgotla as we commence with the 6th administration and takes place after the 2019 National General Elections. The Lekgotla will also precede the State of the Province Address, Budget Speech and Departmental Speeches.
Guided by the 2019 January 8th Statement and the 2019 Election Manifesto, the PEC Lekgotla will develop a framework that will help breathe life into our commitments.This will also serve as a tool for the 6th administration as it implements the ANC Manifesto.
The Lekgotla will be attended by ANC PEC members, ANC Leagues, Alliance partners, components of the Mass Democratic Movement, Executive Mayor’s, Speakers, Chief Whips and members of the Executive both at National and Provincial level.
