The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape joins South Africans who are bidding farewell to veteran journalist and a newsreader at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) for many years, Sisi Linda Gqomfa who passed away on Saturday after a short illness.
Sisi Linda Gqomfa was a giant in the media, and an ambassador extraordinaire for our public broadcaster.She inspired all of us with her wit, charm and never-failing professionalism.
To the Gqomfa family, no words can fully express the level and extent of our sorrow for the loss of your loved one. We express and extend our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family of Sisi Linda Gqomfa, her friends, relatives and her former colleagues at SABC and SAPS.
