The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape has learnt with a deep sense of shock and profound sadness of the untimely passing of Dr Mhlobo Douglas Dywili. Dr Dywili passed away on Saturday, 26 September 2020 after a short illness.
Bedford community has been robbed of a valuable leader and a loyal comrade. Dr Dywili was a ward councillor(Ward 23)in the Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality also serving in the Amathole District Municipality. The municipal council family has lost a committed public representative.
We send our deepest condolences to his family and the community of Ward 23 (Bedford) in Raymond Mhlaba Municipality that he served, ANC Amathole Region and the ANC Caucus. May they find solace in knowledge that we all painfully share their loss. Councillor Dywili was a good man who cared about his community and worked diligently for the upliftment of community.
May his soul rest in peace.
