The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape welcomes the Cabinet reshuffle announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa this afternoon .
Our Province is proud with the appointment of Comrade Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams as new Minister of Communications and Telecommunications.
Cde Stella Ndabeni- Abrahams appointment will bring institutional memory and continuity in the current administration as she has served in the Communications portfolio before.
We are also convinced that the new Ministers in their respective portfolios possess leadership qualities that will contribute greatly to the governance of this country because of their proven track record of serving the ANC with excellence. We call on them to join and support the President in his endeavours to improve the delivery of services to our people.
We wish them strength, courage and resilience as they take up these very important responsibilities.
