The Eastern Cape African National Congress Youth League – International Relations Sub-committee will host a series of Webinars in order to prepare young people, members of the organisation, alliance partners and volunteers of the organisation for the unprecedented times of a government of national unity (GNU).
We will, as part of the series, have various presentations from leaders of the ANC at various levels presenting the position of our organisation and combating disinformation, misinformation and propaganda leveled at the ANC post the National General Election.
The webinar is intended at creating a platform of clarity for members of the organisation and also alleviating fears and uncertainty that may have come as a result of our inability to secure an outright majority in the General Elections.
It is fundamentally important for us as the ANCYL in the Eastern Cape to equip our constituency, members, supporters and all media houses across the province with information on how the GNU will impact South Africa in general and the Eastern Cape in particular.

The ANCYL Eastern Cape Webinar Series is a comtinued build-up initiative to the African Youth Indaba which the International Relations Subcommittee has planned and scheduled for later this year, under the theme: “Unpacking the Continental framework for Youth, Peace, Stability and Security”.
The aim of the current Webinar series is to empower young people through engagement, to prepare themselves for what is a new reality in South Africa’s democracy by discussing and exploring the possible impacts of the formation of the GNU on Socioeconomic related matters.
