Eastern Cape MEC for Finance, Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Hon. Mlungisi Mvoko, is ready to table the Province Budget for 2022.
The tabling of the Budget comes after the State of the Province Address by Premier Oscar Mabuyane, where the Premier outlined government policy priorities for the Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
In his Speech, the Finance MEC is therefore expected to align the budget with the provincial priorities as outlined by the Premier.
Members of the media are therefore invited.
The Department has arranged a special session for members of the media to have an engagement with the MEC prior to his tabling of the speech. This session will assist to unpack some elements of the speech, to also avoid follow up questions post the tabling.
