As part of the build up to National Memorial Service of the late Mam’ uWinnie Nomzamo Madikizela-Mandela, preparations are afoot at Alfred Nzo Region in the Eastern Cape in respect of the tremendous role she has played in the attainment of our liberation.
Today ( 8 March 2018 ) the ANC NEC delegation led by Cde Senzo Mchunu and Pemmy Majodina, PEC members led by the ANC EC Provincial Chairperson Cde Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, Regional Leadership led by Cde Sxolille Mehlomakhulu will start the day by attending services at various churches that are in and around Bizana.
DETAILS OF CHURCH SERVICES ARE LISTED BELOW:
1. Methodist Church of South Africa at Ludeke Village : ( the church where the late Mam’ uWinnie Nomzamo Madikizela-Mandela and her late husband Tat’ uNelson Rolihlahla Mandela got married in June 1958).
2. House of Praise in Bizana.
3. Roman Catholic Church in Bizana.
At 15h00 the delegation will proceed to her birthplace, Mbhongweni village to host a prayer service.
On Tuesday, 10 April 2018 Eastern Cape is scheduled to host the National Memorial Service of Mam’ uMadikizela-Mandela at Mphuthumi Mafumbatha Stadium in Bizana, Alfred Nzo Region.
