ANC in the EC welcomed the move by President Jacob Zuma to appoint Adv. Mvuzo Notyesi of Eastern Cape to serve in the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Indeed it must be an honour to appreciate the skill, experience and ability from the son of the soil.
We are really humbled by this appointment. We wish congratulate Advocate Mvuzo Notyesi for this achievement. It is without doubt that you have earned the respect through the hard work and the undivided commitment towards education, empowerment and development you demonstrated all these years in the legal fraternity. It is man and woman like you that continue to make us proud.
As the province of the Eastern Cape, we salute you. As you will now continue to serve people of this country at that level, we have confidence that you will do that with honour. Many in the province will learn a lot from your achievement.
The JSC was established in terms of Section 178 of the Constitution, and its function is to select fit and proper persons for appointment as judges and to investigate complaints about judicial officers.
