The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape will convene a three (3) day Extended Provincial Executive Committee meeting wherein it will be joined by former ANC President, Comrade Thabo Mbeki from Saturday 29th May 2021 to Monday 31st May 2021 at East London City Hall in Buffalo City Metro.
Comrade Thabo Mbeki is expected to make presentations on the unity, renewal of the ANC and revolutionary morality. Comrade Mbeki will also be contributing on how to reassert the ANC as a movement rooted among the people and a leader of society. But most importantly how to restore the integrity and credibility of the ANC.
The Extended PEC meeting will be a moment to draw on the legacy of the ANC’s founding fathers and mothers and to reorientate the current generation to the values and objectives that inspired the party’s forebears.
