ANC EC notes , appreciate and welcome the court ruling on BCM matter between Troika and Municipal Manager. We of the view that justice is served as we beleive that justice delayed is justice denied.
We are concern about the reported boundless interest shown by certain elements within SAPS and NPA, if this conduct continues unabating, it can undermine the moral standing and the integrit of these very important institutions of our government. As the ANC, we stand by our position against corruption because we believe that it is a cancer that must be fought fearlesly hard by all of us to ensure that the development of our people and the country is not undermined. We call upon all those who have been authorised to deal with corruption to do so with respect, integrit and with out manupulation.
We appeal to justice system to move with speed in attending and concluding the BCM Mandela scandal so that all those who will be found guilt can be held accountable. As the ANC, we strongly believe in clean, transperant and responsible government.
The leadership is indeed disturbed by the events taking place in the leadership of the municipality. We appeal to BCM citizens to be patient with the court processes, we call you to have confidence in our justice system, we agree that you deserves better than the chaos that is currently prevailing in BCM municipality. As the ANC leadership in the province, we are closely monitoring the procedings of this case but also reiterate our position that let us allow the law to take its course, until the matter is concluded. We will then act.
