The Rharhabe Kingdom observes with great disappointment the self-inflicting rampant pillage and mayhem particularly in KZN and Gauteng Provinces.It is regrettable that a counter-revolutionary insurrection masquerading as civil unrest in the form of looting and destruction of property shall reign amok with such impunity.
The Kingdom is fully behind the call by His Excellency President Cyril Ramaphosa to all forms of leadership so as to seek collective wisdom in quelling the situation.We humbly appeal to the Traditional Leadership of KZN to be active participants in engaging the communities within their areas of jurisdiction not to allow themselves to be used as pawns in self-destructive rampage.
The Kingdom also supports the deployment of the SANDF in the affected areas to reinforce the capacity of the Police Service.The Kingdom further calls upon all those who are involved in the acts of violence and lawlessness to desist and refrain from such conduct as it undermines the patriotic values that underpin our Constitutional Democracy.
We must condemn the tribal orchestrated mobilization which is aimed at regressing our resolve to build a cohesive nation towards a National Democratic Society.
Lastly,let all peace loving citizens of our country isolate and bring to book all those elements who are protagonists of this havoc.Let us work with our law enforcement agencies in the identification of all the culprits so as to restore stability and the Rule of Law.
