ANC in the Eastern Cape would like to send its revolutionary wishes to the ANC Provincial Chairperson, Comrade Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane and Deputy Chairperson, Mlungisi Mvoko who were sworn in as Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) on Monday, 19 February 2018.
This deployment is the outcome of a long internal democratic process of the African National Congress.
They replaced Comrades Nomvuzo Mlombile-Cingo and Noxolo Abraham Ntantiso who have been redeployed to other tasks by the movement.
We are confident that our new MPL’s will further reinforce the Legislature’s oversight role over the executive and enhance quality service delivery to the people of the Eastern Cape and South Africa.
They both bring massive experience and commitment to the struggle for radical economic transformation and will continue to add value as members of the legislature.
Having been groomed and nurtured in the working class theatre of struggle, we are confident that these leaders will excel in implementing their new mandate.
