The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape extends its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mama Phindiswa Ellen Qupe, mother to Comrade Zandisile Qupe (ANC PEC member). Mama Phindiswa Qupe passed away this morning, Tuesday, 21 July 2020, after she had been sick for some time at the age of 75 years.
We thank Mama Phindiswa Qupe for having been a pillar of strength and support to the family. May the family find strength to cope with the difficulty and deep seated pain that the passing of a mother brings to any household.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Qupe family at this trying time.
