The African National Congress (ANC)in the Eastern Cape is saddened by the passing away of Nkosi Justice Mabandla. Nkosi Mabandla passed away in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday 22nd December 2021) in hospital at the age of 95 years.
Nkosi Mabandla played an important role within the institution of traditional leadership in our province. He was a fountain of wisdom whose knowledge was always available to all communities in particular younger generation.
Nkosi Mabandla was passionately involved in all aspects of community development and social cohesion. His passing is a great loss to the nation.
We send our sincere deepest condolences to the bereaved Mabandla Royal Family, Isizwe sama Bhele and AmaRharhabe Kingdom .
We pray that God will comfort them in this time of grief and mourning.
