ANC EC saddened by the passing of Saba Mbixane

ANC EC joins millions of South Africans to send its heartfelt condolences to the family of Saba Mbixane. It was recent when they lost their son, now they have lost the farther. As the ANC family, we want to say to the family, we have been praying with you during the time Saba was hospitalised and we are with you right this time of the loss. Saba Mbixane, as we all know was one of the South Africans who dedicated his life in making a difference in the lives of many. Through his influence and passion in the Art and Cultural Industries, he managed to unite South Africans and became the best in what he was doing. As a country, we have lost an icon of traditional music, we have lost a role model, we have lost a farther. Umhlobo Wenene FM has lost the best artist and the best traditional music presenter, South Africa know. We take our hats off for the work well done consistently to influence our young people. We are convinced that he had a life well lived.

Those who saw a role model in him must take where he left and continue to lift our traditional music.  To his family, “thuthuzelekani”. The country must allow him to rest in peace.
