The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape wishes to announce the passing away of the mother to our Provincial Secretary , Comrade Lulama Ngcukayitobi.
Mama Nomsa Nonkanyiso Thelma Ngcukayitobi affectionately known as Mangcuka passed away this morning in hospital after she has not been well for some time at the age of 79 years .
A consummate activist in her own right who dedicated her life in uplifting working class community of Lupapasi eCala. Words are not adequate to explain the sad loss of Mangcuka.
We understand that there is no pain greater than losing a mother. Lalani ngenxeba boJola nosapho ngokubanzi, mkhululeni uMama aphumle ngoxolo.
We wish to express on behalf of the PEC and all South Africans, our deepest condolences and the nation’s solidarity with the Ngcukayitobi’s family during this time of bereavement.
May her soul rest in eternal peace,
