The African National Congress(ANC) in the Eastern the results ofthe by-elections held at Ward 6, Mhlontlo Local Municipality yesterday, Wednesday 26th February 2020.
The elections outcome is a result of hard work, selflessness,commitment which the ANC, Alliiance structures and volunteeres have tirelessly paced themselves throughout the length and breadth of Ward 6. This triumph is a clear sign of confidence that our people have on the leadership of the ANC. We congratulate Cde Mbulelo Vunguvungu who has been elected as the Councillor of Ward 6 in Mhlontlo Local Municipality.
The ANC PEC sincerely applauds the volunteers and supporters of the movement for this overwhelming accomplishment.An unadorned truth conveyed by these results is that the ANC continues to be the only beacon of hope in our province. The centrality of ANC in the cause of our people is undeniable.
We accept this outcome with humility informed by our long held view that it is an honor to serve our people, therefore as revolutionaries ,we have a sacred responsibility to place the aspirations of our people at the top of our agenda of social transformation.
