Manyonga was announced as the biggest winner at the SA Sport Wards during a Gala Dinner held at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park over the past weekend.
Manyonga collected the Sport Star and Sportsman of the Year Award.
He is a testament to what dedication and hard work can achieve and it is an honour as a province to be associated with a World Champion Award.
As we are known world- wide as the Province of the Legends, we are indeed proud of him as he remains a beacon of hope to our youth indicating that being selfless, resilient and dedicated remains the best ingredient for success.
ANC in the EC hope that this achievement will serve as motivation to young people to always strive to achieve more.
