Media Alert: ANC EC hold its PEC Lekgotla

Over the next two days, the ANC EC will be holding its Provincial Executive Committee Lekgotla in Mphekweni. The ANC President Cde Jacob Zuma has delivered in January 10th the statement of the NEC in the 103rd ANC celebrations in Cape Town, in that statement, he called for all of us to go back to basis and the FREEDOM CHARTER must lead and be the center of all what we must do in changing the lives of our people. After the ANC National Lekgotla held two weeks ago in Gauteng, the EC is now holding its provincial planning meeting.

As we plan for 2015, the ANC invites all sectors of our society representing everyone in the society of EC Province, so every view is catered for.

Attending the PEC Lekgotla is representatives from all government organs in the EC Province, ANC MPL’s, MDM structures and Alliance parters (SACP, COSATU & SANCO). We have MEC’s of all government departments & their heads of administration,  Mayors & Deputies, Chief Whips and Speakers of all municipalities, PYA, (ANCYL, YCL, SASCO & COSAS). ANC Regions, all Government Parastatals. We involve every community.

The gathering will take place as follows;

Date: 8th & 9th February

Time: 9am

We invite the media on Monday the 9th to come and have photo opportunity and an interview with the ANC EC Provincial Secretary at 11am. He will be more about the lekgotla and its business. We are doing things differently.
