In her prime, Cde Gedeni served as ANCYL branch secretary at Rolihlala Branch, ward 16. She continued with her political endeavors as an activist to serve the greater youth of Chris Hani Region as an RT member. It is because of her commitment towards the advancement of the agenda of young people that she served as an REC member as a Deputy secretary.
She also served as a SAYC Treasurer Chris Hani District.
She also served the young women of her sub region as a BEC Deputy Secretary. She further served them as an RTT Member and ANC Branch deputy Chair till she succumbed to her untimely death.
