Premier of the Eastern Cape province, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane will use his weekly press conference about mitigation and containment of COVID-19 virus to announce how the provincial government is focusing on the tourism sector to recover the provincial economy following the national lockdown induced by the virus pandemic.
With September being the tourism month in our country, Premier Mabuyane will launch the province’s tourism month programme, announce the provincial tourism sector strategy developed to attract high number of tourists and events to the Eastern Cape province to inject growth into our provincial economy in pursuit of the 5% economic growth by 2030.
