Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister, Senzeni Zokwana will join Eastern Cape Rural Development and Agrarian Reform MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane tomorrow to examine the status of establishing Mega Agri Parks in the province during a meeting to be held in East London.
During the meeting deliberations will place a special focus on the status of business plans, market analysis, farm assessments, production plans, district land reform committees (DLRCs), district Agri-park advisory committees (DAACs), which are key in the process of establishing functional and productive Agri parks.
At the meeting, Minister Zokwana will detail the role of his department in ensuring successful, functioning and productive Mega Agri parks in the province.
Members of the media are invited to attend the meeting as it will discuss issues key to agriculture development, poverty alleviation, economic development, job creation, business opportunity creation and growth of the province.
