The African National Congress (ANC) in the Eastern Cape has learnt with sadness about the passing away of Mrs Nolandile Mabuyane, the mother of our Provincial Chairperson and Premier, Cde Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane. She passed on peacefully this morning after she has not been well for some time.
The passing of Mrs Nolandile Mabuyane, is a loss not only to the Mabuyane family. It is a loss to the ANC family and indeed the entire South African society.
We extend our deepest condolences to Comrade Mabuyane and family on the passing on of this much-loved matriarch.
May they find strength to cope with the difficulty that this end of an era brings to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with family at this difficult time.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
