The African National Congress has learned with dismay of heinous crime wherein an advocate was robbed at gunpoint in Johannesburg today, 24 August 2017. According to media reports, Advocate David Unterhalter was robbed of his personal belongings on his way to the South Gauteng Court
We condemn in the strongest possible terms such heinous crimes against anybody in our country. We call on law enforcement agencies, in particular the South African Police Services (SAPS), to act swiftly in bringing the perpetrators of this crime, and many others, to book.
