The African National Congress in the Eastern Cape is set to host a two day Provincial Consultative Conference (PCC) in East London starting from 17 to 18 June 2017.
The conference is a result of calls from veterans and stalwarts in the province on the need to enhance organisational integrity and to address issues that contribute immensely to the erosion of values and principles of the ANC.
The conference will also discuss effective ways to mobilise society behind the ANC’s vision and program of action on how to rebuild confidence of our citizens. It will also deliberate on mechanisms for our Organisational Renewal and Design that will improve the ANC’s ability to overcome the global, domestic, and intra-organisational factors.
The PCC will be convened under the theme: “2017, The Year of OR Tambo, Close Ranks, Deepen Unity, and Intensify Radical Socio-Economic Transformation”.
The PCC will be attended by a wide range of a stakeholders including delegation from the ANC, its Alliance Partners, formations of the Mass Democratic Movement (MDM) and progressive civil society organisations.
