The ANC in the Eastern Cape Congratulates Thulisa Keyi for winning the Miss World South Africa title during the Miss SA beauty contest tonight.
We wish her all the best as she gets ready to represent our country and her people at the Miss World beauty contest and in all activities for her reign.
Her victory for this particular title at the beauty competition gives her the platform and influence to work on encouraging young people to get education for their own good and for the good of the country.
We call on the comrades deployed to the education department to work with her to support her program to address challenges like school drop out and make education fashionable amongst young people.
It is such programs that our ANC led government must prioritize in order for us to accomplish the targets we have set to educate our children and give them a brighter future.
Young girls of our province, our Women’s and Youth league must work with Thulisa Keyi to make education fashionable and help address access to education funding.
We wish her all the best for the Miss World beauty contest and we are confident that she will clinch the title .
