The African National Congress Amathole Region has learnt with sadness of the untimely passing of comrade Baba Ganjana, a seasoned member of our organisation in Mnquma Subregion.
Cde Ganjana served our movement in various responsibilies, he departs serving in a strategic deployment as the mayoral committee member, heading the portfolio of Land and Human settlements in Amathole District Municipality. Before this deployment to the district municipality, he committed himself in the service of the people of Mnquma as the Executive Mayor of Mnquma Local Municipality.
We wish to convey our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of this revolutionary, his colleagues in the Muncipality of Amathole and all his fellow comrades in Mnquma. We wish them strength and comfort during this period of bereavement and beyond.
