The ANC in the Eastern Cape is deeply hurt by the death of our beloved Cde Ronnie Mamoepa who passed away in Pretoria on Saturday, 22 July 2017.
Mamoepa was a committed person, wedded into the ANC and has shown immense commitment to the people of this country.
His contribution to the liberation of South Africa and development after freedom will forever be engraved in our hearts, minds and history of this country.
We pray God comforts and console Cde Mameopa’s family. So as our flags will fly at half-mast in our provincial ANC in honour of this Comrade, our hearts are in painful mourning.
As we deal with the shocking news of his demise, our hearts are shuttered when we imagine the degree of sorrow and his family is going through during this painful moment in their lives.
We send our heartfelt condolences accompanied with love to his family, colleagues and his political principal ANC Deputy President, Cde Cyril Ramaphosa.
This statement must be attributed to the ANC EC Provincial Secretary Oscar Lubabalo Mabuyane.
