On Tuesday, 8th of January 2019, the African National Congress will be celebrating its 107 years anniversary of its existence .
As part of the ANC’ 107 celebration ,the ANC Eastern Cape will have a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the birthday of our glorious movement and launch Provincial War Room.
We are celebrating one of the liberation movements that came to understand that our revolution must defeat three interrelated and antagonistic contradictions – of national oppression, class exploitation and gender oppression. The ANC is only one of very few liberation movements that understand that black people’s oppression was not only based on their colour, but was equally a function of the inherent exploitative nature of the colonial capitalist system.
The event will be addressed by leaders from all the Alliance components.
