In its bid to wrap up the local government elections ANC in the Eastern Cape is looking forward to the hectic weekend as a number of ANC National Executive Committee members are deployed in various areas throughout the province. According to the Electoral Act the cut of time for campaigning is 12 midnight on 02 of August 2016.
It is against this background that ANC in the Eastern Cape cordially invites members of the media to be part of this as ANC leadership will be conducting a series of campaign trials as the clock is ticking for the set deadline.
Since the start of this period ANC leadership has been embarking on various door to door election campaign and walkabout in various areas throughout the province in order to interact with communities. Subsequently, communities are presented with an opportunity of a life time where they speak directly to their leaders about the challenges that they are faced with on a daily basis.
