Members of the media are invited to attend the Eastern Cape provincial government’s weekly press conference where MECs for Health, Education, Public Works and Infrastructure, will announce measures being implemented by their departments to contain outbreak of COVID-19 infections at schools in Middleburg and Burgersdorp.
The MECs will also provide status report of the work that was activated by the provincial government departments when the cases were reported by the schools in Middleburg and Burgersdorp.
Given the importance of the outbreak of COVID-19 infections at schools, we invite members of the media to attend the press conference to engage the MECs and their departments about the work being done by government and to hear about the condition of the learners, teachers and school staff.
