Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane welcomes the arrival of the military healthcare practitioners from the South African National Defence Force’s South African Military Health Services (SAMHS) to the Eastern Cape Province to beef up the provincial government’s provision of health care as part of the Covid19 containment and mitigation strategy.
The SAMHS has deployed 35 Military Nurses, 12 Doctors, 5 Clinical Associates to assist the Eastern Cape Department of Health fight Covid19.
The provincial government will announce the specific hospitals these South African Military Health Service members will be deployed for their daily operations.
Premier Mabuyane strongly believes that the military healthcare practitioners from the South African National Defence Force’s South African Military Health Services will play a major role in helping the province fight Covid19.
