On Saturday, 16 April 2016 the African National Congress will launch the organisation’s 2016 Local Government Elections Manifesto. The manifesto is the outcome of ongoing and far ranging consultation with our people on the successes and challenges of 15 years of democratic local government, crafted to respond directly and tangibly to their aspirations as to how we continue to build on the foundation that has been laid. Since the beginning of the week, members of the National Executive Committee of the ANC, led by the National Officials have been engaged in intensive mobilisation work, calling on our people to come out in their numbers to Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for the launch.
