Given the importance of protecting clothing in the personal protective equipment for health workers for covid19 mass screening, testing and treatment of patients with coronavirus, the Premier of the Eastern Cape Province, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane will visit a Dimbaza based factory manufacturing protective clothing tomorrow morning.
The Eastern Cape provincial government is on a drive to get manufacturing companies from the Eastern Cape province to supply the provincial government with personal protective equipment to add on the stock already procured by the provincial Department of Health.
This move follows a realisation by the provincial government that none of the companies that were in the list of companies contracted by the National Treasury to supply material needed for COVID19 were based in the Eastern Cape Province.
Details of the visit are as follows:
Date: 14 April 2020
Time: 11:00
